Happy New Year – Take the One Little Word challenge.
Do you participate in the “One Little Word” challenge every year?
Basically you choose one word for the whole year to keep you focused on an overall theme for how you want your year to go. I love the “OLW” challenge. I’ve been doing this for a few years. I love that it’s simple and a lot easier than a long list of New Year’s Resolutions to keep up with. My one little word for this year is: LOVE. There are so many meanings to the word love, but I love that they’re all positive and good no matter which way you look at it.
-Do all things with LOVE.
-LOVE one another.
-LOVE who you are.
-LOVE what you do.
-LOVE life.
I can go on and on. I hope to use this word to guide me with all my interactions with my family and friends. We all can use a little more LOVE.
I hope you all had a fun night ringing in the new year. We had a fun quiet night at home with the kids. We ate out and saw the new movie Big Hero 6 and then home to celebrate. NYE is a great night to see a movie…the theatre is pretty empty, it’s awesome! The older I get the more I cherish these nights we have together at home, because before you know it they will want to be off with their friends on NYE.
Here is the simple DIY tutorial for these NYE numbers (below) and the LOVE letters (above).
Have you picked your “One Little Word”? I’d love to hear! Whatever word you choose this year, I hope you have THE BEST YEAR!
