Sour Cream and Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

This fruit dip makes me think of bridal showers, baby showers and big family gatherings. It’s just that little extra that everyone loves. We love the cream cheese in this fruit dip, it just gives it that extra richness you want, and the sour cream gives it the tangy flavor. It really is so easy to whip up and it’s the little extra that says “party!”

Fruit Dip with Sour Cream

The sour cream makes this dip! Well technically it’s a combination of the four ingredients, but the sour cream makes it tangy. It’s so good! We recently shared this recipe for Orange Creamsicle Fruit Dip, and both are so good, but I think I prefer this one the the orange one.

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Ingredients:

cream cheese (one package)
sour cream (one cup)
sugar (one cup)
vanilla (one teaspoon)

How to make Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, mix all the the ingredients together until smooth. You can serve it right away or it’s best chilled overnight. It’s so good!

cut apples
strawberries
grapes
fresh cut pineapple
kiwi
bananas
blueberries (on a toothpick)
small orange slices

You can even use it as a frosting for cake or cupcakes.
