Easy DIY Halloween Garlands: learn how to make these simple and fun decorations for Halloween this year.
I’m a big fan of garlands of all kind. They just scream party and happy and celebrate. I also love the look of different garlands layered together.
I’ve teamed up with Jo-Ann’s Craft Store for this post. Jo-Ann’s has so many fun things for Halloween. Here’s a quick pic of some of the pretty things I brought home with me, recently. I’m a big fan of using the JoAnn’s app for the coupon every time I shop there. Do you have their app on your phone? It’s the best!
To start with the cute bat garland, I found these sturdy black felt bats on an end cap in the store. I love felted shaped that are sturdy like this. To make this garland, I used my crop-o-dile to punch a small hole and add an eyelet to each wing. Then I just tied little bows with white string to attach them together. I also added google-y eyes to each bat.
For the ribbon garland, I just cut small segments of different Halloween colored ribbon and hot glued them onto a string. I didn’t use a pattern here. They are in a random order, for fun. I have a small candle close by to singe each end of each piece of ribbon so that the ends won’t fray.
Okay, I have a thing for cupcake papers. I love them! You could even say I collect them. Here’s a fun idea: fill a jar with different cupcake liners for a festive decoration and just leave them out on your counter and use them as you need to.
That’s it! Festive and fun for Halloween.
