Top Valentine treat bags with this adorable Pop Up Heart Valentine.
Can you believe Valentine’s Day is coming so soon? Time is chuggin! I’m in love with gold for Valentine’s Day this year, so a glittery gold heart was in order, but not just a any gold glitter heart, this one pops up off the page.
Once you print off these sweet Valentine tags, you’ll want to cut each one out. You can do this by hand with scissors or with a paper slicer. As you can see the heart goes on both the front and back sides of each tag when you print it out.
Next up: for clean folded lines, I love my mini score board. Do you have one of these? It comes in handy all the time.
Once you make a crease down the center line,
use your bone folder to make a smooth crease.
Now with a small pair of pointy tip scissors, cut out the heart so that it will pop up once folded.
Okay…now for the fun part…the candy! To play along with the gold theme of this printable, I’ve filled these with my favorite candy – peanut butter pillows or Duets as they’re called. I can only find them at Cracker Barrel restaurants, or you can buy them on Amazon too (link above). They’re so good! …and pretty too!
To attach the treat bag toppers to the bag, I used the tiny attacher stapler. I love how tiny the staples are. You can hardly see them. That’s it.
