Make an Easter Egg Hunt Break Through Banner!
I have one more Easter idea for you today just in time for the big Easter Egg Hunt this weekend. It’s a simple idea the kids will love! Make a break through banner for the kids to run through to start the hunt in a fun way.
Our kids had such a blast yesterday “testing” it out before this weekend. The how to is simple, all you need is craft paint (we used neon orange and green) and a long roll of butcher paper. As you can see, we spelled out the words “THE HUNT” with carrots…because I love all things carrots this Easter (haha). Isn’t it fun?! It’s perfect for your little bunnies to run right through to gather all the Eggs.
Can we talk about this guy for a minute? Kyle deserves a major award. He’s such a trooper to help me and go along with all my crazy ideas. He’s the best, and I’m a lucky girl.
Okay, back to the banner, we had a few run throughs until they finally broke through. Truth be told, the kids loved running through the banner so much so, that it might even trump the actual hunting for the eggs that follows. Finally they ended up sort of jump/kicking through the banner and that seemed to do the trick to get it to tear in the middle.
We made a fun little video so you can see the banner in action. It took a few tries, but they finally broke through!
Tis the season for bunny ears and baskets. Happy Hunting this weekend!
Tell me are you planning a big Easter egg hunt this weekend?
