Double Chocolate Cherry Cookies
Chocolate cookies with tart chunks of dried cherries and sweet white chocolate chips. These cookies are so chocolaty and moist…the white chocolate chips compliment the tartness of the dried cherries perfectly and the cherry extract makes you think you are biting into a fresh juicy cherry.
Two days after we made these cookies, they were just as soft and moist as they were the day we made them.
Think about it, chocolate and cherries in a cookie is a win any way you look at it!

Can you freeze these cookies?
Like most cookies, these cookies freeze great and will keep in the freezer up to two months.
How long do these cookies keep?
With the addition of sour cream in these cookies, they stay soft for days! I would recommend keeping them in an airtight container to help maintain their softness.
Are dried cherries good for you?
Yep…dried cherries are are good source of vitamin A. While cookies in general are not super good for you, you can feel good about the addition of dried cherries. Plus the tartness of the cherries is so good paired with the white chocolate chips.
