We’re so excited for The LEGO NINJAGO Movie to hit theaters on September 22nd. We’ve loved the other LEGO movies Warner Bros. Pictures has released, and I’m sure this one will be no exception. I love being able to watch a fun animated movie with my kids and still have a good laugh myself, don’t you? To celebrate the new LEGO NINJAGO Movie coming out, I’ve partnered with the studio to share a fun DIY: LEGO NINJAGO Movie Ninja Suckers.
If you have yet to see The LEGO NINJAGO Movie trailer, this is for you. We’re getting excited to see it, especially after watching the trailer.
Are you ready for this super simple DIY?!
Here’s what you need to make these fun LEGO NINJAGO Movie Suckers:
–LEGO NINJAGO Printable Eyes (print on adhesive paper and scale down to 70% when printing)
– Suckers (Blow Pops or Tootie Pops work great)
– Crepe paper (red – Kai, black – Cole, white – Zane, blue – Jay, green – Lloyd)
Tools:
-sharp scissors
-Glue Stick
To start, print the ninja eyes printable on adhesive paper. This will make the eyes an easy-to-use sticker when ready to apply. Before printing, you may want to scale the original printable down to make sure it will fit the wrapped suckers. I scaled down the original to 70% and it worked fabulously.
To create the “ninja” look, wrap each sucker in your chosen crepe paper color. After you’re finished wrapping the sucker, secure the colored paper by dab a little glue on the end and wrap it back onto its self.
Once the sucker is wrapped, cut the NINJAGO eyes out with a pair of sharp scissors. Peel the eye sticker off the paper and stick it onto the wrapped sucker. You have yourself a ninja sucker!
