Lemonade recipe with real lemon juice:
You really can’t beat lemonade made with real lemon juice. Making lemonade is all about getting the right ratio of lemon juice to sugar to water. If the ratio is off, it can be too sweet or it can be too tart. The good news is that it’s so forgiving…you can always adjust to your liking.
How to make a Simple Syrup:
Lemonade calls for a simple syrup, which is basically just sugar in liquid form. Here’s how to do it: combine 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Stir continuously while it boils to help dissolve the sugar. At this point you can move it to the fridge to let it chill or you can just add a bunch of ice in the place of water to help cool it down.
Just three ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups lemon juice
- 2 cups sugar
- 8 cups water
