Homemade Fresh Peach Milkshake
I live for this time of year when fresh peaches are available at our local fruit stand. It’s the best. When peaches are perfectly ripe they peel so easily. If they are not easy to peel, you can always submerge them in boiling water for a minute or so and this will help the skins peel right off. Once peeled, slice and chop them up to make milkshakes!
Ingredients:
3 medium-large sized peaches (peeled and sliced)
4 cups vanilla ice cream (half of 1 half gallon)
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make fresh peach milkshakes:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth or desired consistency. Enjoy!

Sure! You can use fresh or frozen peaches to make these milk shakes. First peel and slice peaches before freezing.
How to freeze peaches?
Peel and slice peaches. Lay them onto a sheet pan and flash freeze individually for 1 hour and then transfer them to a freezer safe gallon bag or container to freeze for a longer time. This is a great way to freeze fresh peaches for smaller portion recipes like these milkshakes or for a smoothie.

You can keep a fresh peach shake in the freezer for up to two hours before it will freeze. If you leave it in the freezer longer it will freeze solid. You could make a big batch milk shake and keep it in the freezer for a short time before serving.
