Make delicious gravy in no time at all with this quick recipe for Better than Bouillon Gravy.
I’m a big fan of Better than Bouillon for both the beef flavor, the chicken flavor and the turkey flavor. It’s such an inexpensive way to make chicken stock, beef stock or in this case, gravy! We had meatloaf the other night and I was out of the ingredients to make our usual sweet and tangy glaze for the top and I needed a quick gravy. This is when Better Than Bouillon saved the day. It was so easy to whip up a simple gravy that was perfect for meatloaf and creamy mashed potatoes. Here’s our favorite Turkey Gravy recipe to feed a crowd that you can make ahead to have one less thing to make on Thanksgiving Day.
Sometimes you don’t have the juices from the meat to make a gravy, and that’s why Better Than Bouillon is great to have on hand. We love it for making a quick au jus for French Dip Sandwiches too!
Can you make Better Than Bouillon Gravy with flour?
Yes! We used cornstarch, because we wanted to use it up, but you can easily swap out the cornstarch in this recipe with flour. You can also add butter and real minced onion if you want to take this simple gravy to the next level.
We love the chicken flavored gravy on our Chicken Crescent Bundles.
Different Ways to Use Better Than Bouillon:

- add extra flavor to soups
- add extra flavor to mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies and more
- make chicken, beef or vegetable stock: it’s so much easier to buy a small jar of Better than Bouillon and mix up some stock at home, rather than buying boxes or cans of stock from the store.
