Give the gift of chocolate with a cute mason jar topper.
Chocolate Bunny Mason Jar Toppers
I have a few fun Easter ideas for you before Easter weekend. When it comes to Easter candy, it’s all about the chocolate! Chocolate bunnies…chocolate eggs…but not just any chocolate eggs, it has to be Cadbury mini eggs. You know that special purple bag that you get so excited to see on the shelf every year? They’re the best! Here’s a fun gift idea or just a cute decoration/spot to store your favorite chocolate eggs: Chocolate Bunny Mason Jars.
You can make milk chocolate and dark chocolate bunny jars with just a switch of color in the spray paint department. Here’s what you need for this easy gift idea:
-ceramic bunnies (I found these at my local IFA country store, near all the small animals and fairy garden stuff)
-small wide mouth jars
-baker’s twine in assorted pastel colors
-spray paint: I used Krylon Espresso and Adobe in gloss
-super glue (to adhere the bunnies to the tops of the jars)
Baker’s twine works great for making tiny little bows around the neck of each little chocolate bunny. Aww…for cute.
Once the little chocolate bunnies are ready, add a little super glue to the bottom of each bunny and adhere it to the center of the jar lid.
Then just fill the jars with the cadbury mini eggs and make someone happy!
Okay…now it’s your turn. What’s your FAVORITE Easter candy?!
