Halloween is almost here, and here’s a fun DIY to take a basic party punch bowl and turn it into a splendid one! This DIY Halloween Punch Bowl will be so fun at your next party.
Using my new Cricut Explore machine, we designed and cut out this fun swarm of bats design in black vinyl. I found the round glass punch bowl at Michaels for $20 and the stemless glasses are actually plastic (great for kids) and I found them for $1 clearance at Target. Total project with vinyl is under $35.
Once the designs are all cut out in vinyl, we used transfer paper to move it over to the round glass punch bowl. It’s a little tricky to stick the vinyl on a round object like this, but it ended up working great.
For the punch, I didn’t really follow a recipe. I wanted the punch to be orange for Halloween, so we used lots of fresh orange juice, sliced fresh oranges, a can of orange juice concentrate, a big bag of pebble ice and sprite or diet sprite will work great. Or you could try the best party punch. We love that recipe, it’s always a hit!
Once you are all set with the new Cricut Explore, you can make this punch bowl using this swarm of bats design. You could also use this design on other projects. It would look cool on a no carve pumpkin using black card stock – like this one.
