Just a few of my favorite things!
Remember Oprah’s Favorite Things Show? Best Show Ever! You could just feel the excitement of the audience. Well, today I’m happy to share my favorite things of 2015 with you as part of a fun blog hop hosted by Melissa of 320 Sycamore. A bunch of us have joined together to share with you some of our Favorite Things. This post is not sponsored by any of the companies or brands shared in this post, but some of the links are affiliate links. We’re just simply sharing things we really love right now and use. I’m excited to hop from blog to blog and see what each blogger is loving this year. It’s a great way to get gift ideas! While this post is not a giveaway, I do currently have a giveaway going on this week where you can enter to win a $100 Amazon gift card!
Thanks Melissa for organizing this fun blog hop. Be sure to visit all the blogs participating.
Okay…first up on my favorite things list:
Mosser cake stands: I love the simple classic shape of the Mosser cake stands. I’d love to have one in every color, but for now the Jadeite color has my heart.
I’ve mentioned a handful of times my love for this handheld ceramic mandolin. It’s the best for slicing onions, apples, radishes, carrots…(you name it) super thin. It really speeds up food prep time.
Enamelware with the red rim. I love this vintage metal dish-ware. The mugs would be so cute in a little Hot Chocolate Station.
I’m also loving the red rim enamelware square brownie pan too. I love white dishes, and these are fun with just a pop of red.
Red and white buffalo check napkins. These would be so cute at a Christmas dinner, and I love that you could use them year round for other holidays, like: Valentine’s Day and the 4th of July.
Mason Jar Measuring cups – I love this fun novelty set of measuring cups. It would make a fun girlfriend gift too.
Okay…moving on to a few beauty favorites, like Kenra Hairspray. This hairspray is the best hairspray I’ve ever used. I need to order it in bulk so I never run out.
Batiste Dry Shampoo for dark brown hair – This dry shampoo is so good, and I love that it’s for dark hair.
Another dry shampoo favorite: Oscar Blandi – I love this dry shampoo for different reasons. This one you just put a little bit in your hand and it’s great for second day hair.
Sleep Bubble Bath – I’m not big into added fragrance on many things, but this bubble bath scent is my favorite. It really will help relax you to sleep.
Better Than False Lashes – I love this mascara with an extra wand to add fibers to your lashes to make them look longer than they really are. It’s a great alternative to falsies or eyelash extensions.
Mirage Flameless Candles – Have you seen these candles? They’re so neat! They look so real with the faux flickering flame. Plus they’re safe with little kids and you can turn them on with remote.
Buffalo Check Pillow – you can never have too many throw pillows, and I’m loving this classic print in black and white. They also have it in red and white which would be fun for Christmas.
Vintage Chevy Toy Truck – love this cute little truck for sweet holiday decor. Put a little bottle brush tree in the back and it makes a festive decoration.
Alex and Ani Bracelets – I have the Bumble Bee one and I love layering it with other bracelets. This pineapple one would be so fun, and I love the symbolism behind pineapples. Pineapples are a symbol of hospitality.
Cute Striped Pajamas for Christmas morning. I’m a sucker for the matching pj’s on Christmas morning, and these simple striped ones are cute and classic.
Christmas Books for kids: I love to add a few books to our Christmas Book collection, and this one: A Wish to be a Christmas Tree is next on my list to buy. It has great reviews on Amazon. We love reading a Christmas book by the tree every night in December.
Last one…my new book! Washi Tape Christmas. 30+ ways to use washi tape for Christmas gifting, wrapping, baking and crafting. You can enter to win my new book along with the Amazon gift card and a one pound box of caramels.
