Italian Shrimp Bake Recipe
I don’t know about you, but here in Utah it has been cold, rainy and dreary these last few days! I feel like these are the days I am so unmotivated to do household chores! With this quick 15 minute recipe I can have a quick meal with excellent protein for my family, and give in to the dreary weather and stay inside, snuggled up in blankets watching a good movie; or maybe catch up on a little guilty pleasure… like the Bachelor! This shrimp bake is the BEST recipe to add some color to your table and brighten up your day! It has some great Italian flavors and just enough lemon to set it off making me want to eat 2nd and 3rd helpings! (Heavens knows I don’t need that though!) I hope you enjoy it as much as my family did!
What you need to make this Italian Shrimp Bake:
- 2 packages, uncooked, peel and eat shrimp (31-40 count)
- 1 stick butter
- 2 lemons, washed and sliced thin, seeds removed
- 1 packet dry Italian Dressing and Seasoning Mix
How to make this Italian Shrimp Bake
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.
Thaw 2 packages, uncooked, peel and eat shrimp (31-40 count) in a bowl of cold water if they are frozen. You can also peel these if desired. Set the shrimp aside for a few minutes.
Next we are going to take 2 lemons, washed and sliced thin, seeds removed and place them in the bottom of your baking dish,
Layer the prepped shrimp evenly on top of the lemons. Melt the butter. Pour the melted butter over the top of the lemons and shrimp. Take 1 packet Italian Dressing and Seasoning Mix and sprinkle it over the top of the shrimp and the lemons.
Bake uncovered for 15 minutes. If desired, finish them off under the oven broiler for a few minutes to caramelize the Italian dressing on top. Serve warm.
