Lucky Charms Pudding Pops
Forget the ice cream truck…make Lucky Charms Pudding Pops at home! Let’s hear it for Pudding Pops! Add in your favorite crunchy marshmallows and it’s a fun make at home popsicle that all the neighbor kids will come running for. The hardest part is sifting through the box of Lucky Charms to gather all the marshmallows. My son was a little disappointed (understatement) when he went to pour a bowl of cereal to find that all the marshmallows were gone. Thankfully they weren’t gone…they were just in the freezer. 🙂 We don’t regularly buy sugar cereal, so it’s a fun surprise when we do.
I was excited to test out a few new popsicle molds that I recently bought on Amazon. Watch for more popsicle posts in the future, because I’m loving all things popsicle right now. These Lucky Charms Pudding Pops would be fun for St. Patrick’s Day too!
That’s it! When you’re ready take them out of the molds, submerge the molds into a narrow jar of hot water to release the pops from the molds. We sprinkled a little crushed Lucky Charms cereal on top for a nice touch. These pops were so good!
Lucky Charms Pudding Pops
Ingredients
- Popsicle Molds
- Jello Instant Pudding - White Chocolate or Vanilla
- Cool Whip 8oz. container
- Lucky Charms marshmallows
Instructions
-
Start by mixing up the pudding as directed on the package, then fold in the entire package of cool whip. We used white chocolate flavor because the vanilla looked a little too yellow and I wanted the pops to look white like milk.
-
Once all mixed together well, begin to spoon the mixture into the popsicle molds. After each spoonful, drop in a few Lucky Charms marshmallows in a variety of colors. Use a long wooden skewer to move the mixture around the marshmallows to avoid air pockets in your popsicles. It's hard to get it perfect, but the wooden skewer does help.
-
Freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
