Month at a Glance DIY calendar
I love a small desk calendar…a quick glance at the month is always helpful in keeping your days straight. It’s a bonus if the calendar cards are cute to boot! There are so many pretty paper items that go hand in hand with the new Minc Machine by Heidi Swapp. These fun square calendar cards to add the foil to are one of my favorites.
Each month has a different border which makes it fun to add a different color of metallic foil to each square calendar card.
Just look at that rainbow of shiny metallic awesomeness.
I went with gold for the month of October…I figure it works great with orange and black. Just run the square calendar cards through the Minc machine with the colored foil of your choice.
As an easy way to display the current month, I used this cute wood recipe box from Pebbles in my pocket…Jen Hadfield’s new line. One big wooden clothes pin attaches it to the front of the box. You can store the rest of the calendar cards inside the box, and pull them out as each month changes.
And just like that…August is almost over and September is here. Time flies when you’re having fun!
