I over bought in the pretzel category for our quarantine snacks and it turns out my family doesn’t eat pretzels…unless they are blended up to make these fantastic peanut butter pretzel bars.
Ingredients:
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
How to make No Bake Peanut Butter Bars:
- Line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper so that the paper goes up the sides.
- Blend the pretzels until crushed or finely crushed (your preference).
- Add melted butter, pretzels, powdered sugar and 1 cup peanut butter to a large bowl and mix with a rubber spatula to combine.
- Press firmly into the prepared pan. This is easily done with a piece of parchment paper in-between your hands and the bottom layers of these bars.
- Place chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 30 second increments stirring in between each, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Pour this over the bars and spread evenly with a spatula.

- Slice into bars. Keep covered and store in the fridge.
Variations:
- swap the pretzels for ritz crackers
- swap the pretzels for oats
- swap the pretzels for graham crackers
