Pineapple Kiwi Layered Smoothie a great way to start your day.
With warmer days ahead, our fresh fruit smoothie consumption is on the rise. When it’s cold outside, the last thing I want is a cold blended smoothie, but when it’s hot, it’s so refreshing, not to mention such a great way to start the day. Throw in a little protein powder and breakfast is served.
Not to name names, but it’s hard to get veggies into the daily diet of a certain picky eater at my house. That’s why I love smoothies. When you blend spinach with sweet fruit, it is so much easier to get healthy green veggies in for the day. Then the rest of the day I try, but I don’t stress it. It’s such a great way to start the day, plus I love that it doesn’t slow you down first thing in the morning. Smoothies are just awesome like that.
I love the look of the layered smoothies, the color blocking contrast of color. The colors of fresh fruit and veggies are so vibrant.
If you are in need of a new blender, I’m in love with our Blendtec Blender. It’s the best. Also these little dessert glasses are fun to show off the colorful layers of the smoothie.
