If you love caramel corn, you will LOVE these salty sweet corn puffs. They make the best treat…salty and sweet, and we love that they never get stuck in your teeth like pop corn sometimes can. We love this treat during the holidays. It’s fun for a game night in or it would make a sweet treat to make for friends and family for Christmas or the NEW YEAR!
You have probably had this kind of puffed corn snack before. Most grocery stores sell it and it’s usually a generic store brand. It’s usually butter flavored. It is the base for this snack. Just make sure you buy the butter flavored kind, and not a cheese flavored kind. We are taking it to the next level by adding a crunchy sugar coating. They are so good and so addicting…bet you just can’t eat one.
There are a bunch of different names for this kind of treat:
-Chester’s PuffCorn Crack (named after the brand of puffed corn)
-Puffed Corn AKA Crack Corn
-Candied Corn Pops (pops as in the snack, not the cereal)
