DIY Thanksgiving Place Cards
I’m teaming up with Jo-Ann Craft stores again to bring you another fun holiday idea. I love to change up our usual Thanksgiving place cards and do something different each year. I love the classic look of clothes pins and wanted to add a little sparkle to it.
I just stamped these clothes pins and used heat embossing glitter powder to make sure the letters and the stamp stay in place. You could either use a regular stamp, or a heat embossing gun which adds that raised 3D effect to the letters.
It was fun to get creative and stamp both vertical and horizonally on the clothes pins. Due to the size of clothes pins, words with six letters or less seemed to work best.
While at Jo-Anns, I also picked up these cute bark candle stick holders. I really love the natural look of them.
If you are looking to add a little extra sparkle to the Thanksgiving place cards this year, this is a fun way to do it.
As for the scalloped card stock, I just used 3 round pieces of Thanksgiving or Fall colored card stock and added a monogrammed sticker to one piece of patterned paper on top. Really simple.
*Thanks to Jo-Anns for sponsoring this project.
