Every party needs a good veggie dip, and this one is our go to favorite. Super easy to whip up and I always have all the ingredients on hand.
This recipe calls for Bon Appétit Seasoning which has MSG…and can be hard to find, so we are going to make our own Bon Appétit Season salt…a homemade version, it’s so easy.
How to make your own Bon Appétit Replacement Seasoning
To make a homemade version of Bon Appétit Seasoning here is what you need:
- 1 tablespoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Mix the three together and you have Bon Appetit Seasoning!
How To Make The Best Homemade Vegetable Dip with Sour Cream
Here’s what you need:
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon bon appétit seasoning
- 1 tablespoon dill weed
- 1 tablespoon dried chives
Mix them all together…let it chill in the fridge for a few hours and it’s ready to dip!

What are your favorite veggies to dip? My kids love cauliflower, it seems to be the first to go. Sometimes I love to have this out with lots of fresh cut veggies as an after school snack. It’s a great way to get kids to eat fresh veggies.
