Mother’s Day Brunch Decor DIY

Here’s a super simple way to add a little decor to your Mother’s Day brunch. Spell out the word mom and add a little floral touch. This simple craft is so easy.

What you need to make this simple Mother’s Day Brunch Decor:

-paper mâché letters: we used the small-medium sized letters. We found them at Joanns and they had three different sizes available.
-foam floral picks (also found at Joann Craft store.)
-low temp hot glue gun
-scissors (preferably old scissors that can cut through wire…or wire cutters)

How to make this Mother’s Day Brunch Decor:

To start have your glue gun warmed up and ready to use. Lay out the paper mâché letters flat on your work station.
Working one small floral pick at a time, we pulled the foam flowers out, cut the wire stem and then added some hot glue to the back side of the flower and then stuck it to the front side of the paper mâché letters. Using up each little pick at a time, we grouped colors together and eventually ran out of each color.
For the tiny yellow flowers, we curled the wire by wrapping it around a pen to give it some movement.

For the brunch we served up:
-fresh fruit: strawberries, grapes and apples
-veggies with ranch: cocktail cucumbers, cauliflower, carrots and sugar snap peas
-crackers, meat and cheese
-mini pancakes
-chocolate (individually wrapped Hershey’s Nuggets)

A buffet is such a great way to feed a crowd for brunch. We love the ease of serving this way and it’s such a great way to mix and mingle with everyone at your brunch.
